Susan Hunt , veuve du pasteur Gene Hunt, a été coordinatrice du ministère parmi les femmes de l’Eglise presbytérienne d’Amérique et a publié une vingtaine de livres, dont celui-ci est le premier traduit en français. Elle habite la région de Dallas, au sud des Etats-Unis.
