Wayne Grudem est professeur de théologie et de sciences bibliques au Phoenix Seminary en Arizona (États-Unis). Diplômé de Harvard et du Westminster Seminary-Philadelphia, il est titulaire d’un doctorat en Nouveau Testament de l’université de Cambridge. Il a été président de l'Evangelical Theological Society en 1999. De 2005 à 2008, il a exercé le rôle de rédacteur général de la ESV Study Bible. Il est l’auteur de  Théologie Systématique , traduit en plusieurs langues.
